Slow Flow
Continuous, unhurried movement linked to the breath. We warm the spine, open the hips and shoulders, and build a little strength along the way. Expect to move the whole hour and to leave looser than you arrived.
Yoga studio · [Your city]
A quiet room, a slow hour, and nothing to prove. We teach unhurried yoga for ordinary bodies — stiff backs, busy heads, first-timers and people who have been coming for years.
What we teach
Every class is capped small so the teacher can actually see you. No mirrors, no heat, no competition — just breath, movement and a bit of quiet at the end.
Continuous, unhurried movement linked to the breath. We warm the spine, open the hips and shoulders, and build a little strength along the way. Expect to move the whole hour and to leave looser than you arrived.
Long holds, bolsters, blankets and very little effort. Poses are set up so the body can let go completely, with guided breathing to settle the nervous system. This is the class people book when they are tired, wired, or recovering.
A six-week run through the basics: how to stand, how to breathe, what the poses are actually for, and how to use props so nothing hurts. Nothing is assumed. If you have never been on a mat, start here.
An early, quiet sitting and gentle stretch before the day starts. Twenty minutes of guided breath and meditation, thirty of slow movement. Come as you are, leave before the traffic.
Weekly schedule
Classes run seven days. Doors open fifteen minutes before each class — come early, settle, and let the day fall off you. Times below are a starting point; edit them to match your real timetable.
Class sizes are small and most evenings fill up. [Booking note — e.g. book online up to 14 days ahead, or just turn up.]

Visiting
Wear something you can move in — anything soft, nothing tight around the waist. Bring a water bottle if you like. Mats and props are here, so there's nothing to buy first.
Arrive ten or fifteen minutes early so you can find the room, meet whoever is teaching, and settle before we start. If you're running late, come in anyway and sit down quietly; it happens to everyone.
Tell the teacher about anything that's sore, healing, or newly changed — a shoulder, a knee, a pregnancy, a long stretch at a desk. They'll offer a version of the pose that works for you, and nobody else in the room will notice.
You don't need to be flexible, calm, or good at this. That's what the practice is for.
Yes. Beginners' Foundations exists exactly for this, and Slow Flow is gentle enough to start in. Tell the teacher it's your first class and they'll keep an eye on you.
Almost nobody can when they start, and it has nothing to do with whether the class works. Props are there so every pose has a version your body can actually do today.
[Booking note — e.g. evenings usually need booking, daytime classes you can drop into.]
No. The room is warm and comfortable, never heated to a sweat. If you want heat, we're not it.
Talk to us first and to your doctor. Restorative and private sessions are usually the right starting point, and the teacher will adapt everything to what you're cleared for.
